Toshiba Business Solutions
Ottawa High School recently accepted a $2,000 donation from Toshiba Group to aid in the construction of the school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Bus. Representatives Brian Williams and Lyndon Jordan from Toshiba Business Solutions were on site to tour the bus and present the check to OHS staff and students who have worked on the project. The donation is intended to help students and staff outfit the bus -transforming it from a people mover to a full mobile learning exploration space. Once completed, the bus will be used throughout the district and the State of Kansas to help students move from content consumers to content creators. The mobile classroom will have inside and outside learning spaces and will be chock-full of cabinets and technology equipment to facilitate exploration and learning.
