There is a book about this movie. It is one of my favorite movies and books. The main character is a Ponyboy, who has two brothers named Darry and Sodapop. They are in a gang called the Greasers. They have a big fight in the movie and it is my favorite scene.

There is a bad gang called the Socs and they also have their own territory. Ponyboy's friend is Johnny and sadly he dies in the movie right after the Socs and Greasers have a rumble. Everyone was sad when they found out that Johnny died. It was like the great depression. Johnny was like the pet of the greasers. He has also been jumped by a bunch of Socs. They tried to do it to Ponyboy and Johnny, but Johnny killed him. I would give this movie a 9/10.
