Tier 3: Intensive Supports (few students)

What it is

• Individualized, intensive interventions based on student-specific needs.

• Frequent progress monitoring and ongoing problem-solving.

• Supports are highly individualized and adjusted based on data.

Who it is for

• Students with the most significant or persistent needs who have not responded adequately to Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports.

Goal

• Provide the intensity necessary for meaningful improvement while maximizing student success in the least intensive level of support possible.
