This privilege allows Juniors and Seniors to visit a college campus they are considering as an option to further their education.
If you are going on a college visit during a school day, it is a school requirement that you must have the College Visit Form signed by a representative of the admissions office at the conclusion of your visit.
You can print off the College Visit Form by downloading it below, or just pick up a printed copy outside the GEHS Attendance Office.
As long as you turn in the College Visit Form to Jill Washington in the GEHS Attendance Office, these days will not count as absences toward the Opt-Out Limit of 3 absences.
The Gardner Local Scholarships are now open! These are from actual people here in town who you may actually know and who want to help you succeed with your post-high school plans and there is some really good money to be awarded.
The application period will end on March 31st (unless otherwise noted).
These applications can be accessed in your Xello account. If you are not familiar with they are located, here is a quick slide presentation showing you how to get to the right spot: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1nbl2u8dvU1zBd1wEw2IhV8w4wq7jihdero7UdKYFdgE/present
Please read all instructions carefully because all of the scholarships are different in how they need to be submitted. **Disclaimer…if the application says to turn it in to the school office, that actually means to turn it in to the counseling office.
Pick up your transcript in the counseling office. You will get one copy…it is up to you to make additional copies or scan it for an electronic copy.
Questions? Please email Mrs. Jacobs at jacobsc@usd231.com or come see us in the counseling office!
Good luck!
Seniors, if you weren't able to attend the Senior Class Meeting, please pick up a packet of forms in the front office.
During the meeting, we talked about all of the important dates coming up between now and Graduation Day, along with what to expect your final week of school in May.
If you forget to pick up the packet in the office, and you don't mind printing off the forms at home, you can access the forms here:
We will try to keep this section updated with upcoming fundraiser and meeting info for the Senior Parents. But to make sure you don't miss anything, please join the GEHS Class of 2026 group on Facebook.
