A self-produced podcast unpacking culture, creativity, and identity through unfiltered conversations and sound-rich storytelling. I ideated the concept, designed the branding, directed the episodes, and handled editing + distribution. This is my lab for voice and vision.
A creative outlet for me to express myself and recap some of my experiences in the creative field from taking modeling/acting classes to navigating post-graduate life.
Role: Student Designer for my DANC 482 - Improv Strategies in Movement & Materiality class.
Objectives: Group project to explore luxury athleisure inspired by Nike's "So Win" campaign,
Outcome: Designed and prototyped a custom skirt inspired by Afro-futurist aesthetics and functional movement. Used technical sketching, iterative design, and sewing skills to bring the concept to life. Reflects my fashion point of view: purposeful, poetic, powerful.
Role: Student participant for my graduate Professional Practices Residential course.
Objectives: To explore innovative sustainability ideas at the Coliseum during the LA28 Games.
Outcome: Part of a residential graduate course reimagining the LA Coliseum experience through sustainability and sensory design. My focus was storytelling and audience immersion, leading to a speculative concept for an interactive legacy installation of a trash bin during the LA 28 Olympic Games.
Role: Attendee
Objectives: To immerse myself in a 2 day creative make-a-thon with an amazing agenda of speakers, sessions, and activities.
Outcomes: Co-created an AI-powered concept for elderly mobility and wellness. Led the branding and UX approach for the prototype, showcasing how empathy and innovation can intersect through design thinking and inclusive tech. Check out our "SCoogle" prototype here.
