Los Angeles is a large city, so getting from "Los Angeles" to USC can seem daunting. Never fear: here is a guide to get from major transit hubs to USC.
By Air
If you are flying into Los Angeles, we recommend LAX. To get from LAX to USC, a taxi or rideshare is the fastest at around 40 minutes, traffic pending. There are also several public transit options, all of which take more than an hour and require significant walking. The Transit app is the best way to check public transit options throughout LA. More public transit information is available on the Venue and Transit page.
By Rail
If trains are more your speed, Los Angeles Union Station is served by several Amtrak lines and Metrolink lines. There is a USC shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from Union Station to the USC campus. More information can be found here. In addition, the Los Angeles Metro links directly to Union Station, and with one transfer connects to USC.
By Car
There is ample free street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding USC which is likely to be available due to spring break, with metered spaces directly adjacent to campus. Pay attention to street cleaning signs before parking!
