The Faculty of Science at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile is organizing a new edition of the Workshop of Science, to be held in Santiago, Chile, from October 14 to 16, 2025.
This will be a special edition, as we will be celebrating 50 years of existence since the foundation of our Faculty. We are delighted to share this milestone with the community.
The Workshop welcomes contributions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
Physics and Earth Sciences

❖ Condensed Matter
❖ Earth and Space Sciences
❖ High Energy Physics, Gravitation, Mathematical Physics
❖ Materials Science
❖ Optics and Quantum Information
❖ Science Education
Mathematics and Computer Science
❖ Algebra and Geometry
❖ Complex Structural Models
❖ Discrete Mathematics, Optimization and Computer Science
❖ Functional Analysis and Evolution Equations
❖ Mathematical Education
❖ Mathematical Physics
❖ Partial Differential Equations
❖ Theoretical Statistics, Spatial Statistics, Time Series and Data Mining Algorithms
In addition to fundamental research, we also aim to address practical aspects and real-world applications, including industrial and innovation-related processes.
The goal of this Workshop is to foster an open and collaborative environment where researchers can present their latest findings and engage in meaningful discussions.
The event will be held on the main campus of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
