Expectations

What to expect when you are getting support?

As part of the facilitation process, teachers will be supported for one hour per week for those participating in a Chromebook Classroom. For those participating in an iPad Classroom with facilitation, teachers will be supported for 30 minutes - 45 minutes, dependant on the age and ability of the class. The purpose of this facilitation is to deliver valuable CyberSmart content and modelling a digital pedagogy for both the teacher and learner. The weekly support aims to create sustainable practice within each 1:1 digital immersion classroom.

Facilitation continues for one year, aiming to continue a similar timetable for each term. The terms are broken up into Smart Learners, Smart Footprint, Smart Relationships and an additional CyberSmart Topic. Over the course of the programme teachers will be up skilled in Cybersmart thinking, become proficient in google tools, and be supported in their understanding of Learn, Create, Share.

Our aim is to create a positive relationships online and offline with you and your learners. The facilitation is only for one year, but we hope that you feel confident to ask for support at any time!
