Capstone Rubric
CATEGORIES
1. Reflection
Student provides an overview of the Graduate Profile relative to her personal experiences.
Student identifies and explains significant experiences for the purpose of illustrating change and/or growth in the areas of the Graduate Profile.
Student incorporates non-Ursuline related experiences into her reflection.
2. Organization
Student is logical and concise in her presentation.
Student’s presentation materials are free of spelling, grammar, and pronunciation errors.
Student’s presentation is 15-20 minutes in length.
3. Creativity
Student uses her gifts/talents in the delivery of her presentation.
Student uses visual or audio aids in appropriate and interesting ways.
Student attempts to engage the audience in her presentation.
4. Professionalism
Student carries herself with focus and direction.
Student is the focal point over technology or presentation aids (does not read directly from note cards, script or smart board).
Student wears dress uniform and looks professional.
Student addresses the panelists in her presentation.
5. Response to Questions
Student’s responses to questions augment, clarify, or support presentation.
Student demonstrates the ability to appropriately and professionally answer questions.
GRADING
Grade is determined by the evaluating group which consists of three faculty / staff members.
Students will be graded in each of the five categories.
Grading Scale: Pass / Not There Yet
Students must earn Pass in ALL categories to complete the graduation requirement.
Students will receive feedback immediately following presentation.
Students who do not pass will receive feedback and will be required to present again.
