Spring Recap:

This spring we elected our new leadership and have been working on the electronics and coding aspects of Tardigrade. Most of the team members joined more recently, so this spring included teaching and learning of the basics. This included learning CAD on Fusion 360 as well as soldering. We also connected with WPI's RoboSub team.

Summer Recap:

We have held summer meetings and are eager to move forward towards the school year. With this, we are beginning to fundraise for our competition and continue working on our AUV. We look forward to welcoming new members to our team in the fall and hope for a successful year!

Spring Recap:

Our team fostered 3 successful grants, provided by URI^2. While these grants moved forward, our team also built our AUV, minus the electronics- which will be our focus for the coming year, as we gear up for ROBOSUB in summer 2024.

Fall Recap:

The team started to rebuild, focusing on grants and designing of our AUV for the ROBOSUB competition. Our co-captain Bill taught Solidworks classes to some of the team, building skills for the future. Students also learned mechanical skills like operation of machines and tools in the lab, as well as soft skills like grant writing.
