The aspects of individual well-being, quality of life in society, sustainable leadership, and economic development are rooted in how individuals can grow in preserving human values. The Fifth Industrial Revolution (IR5.0) aims to create a human-centered society based on technology such as AI (artificial intelligence). The 4th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) seeks to provide quality education so that citizens can face the challenges of globalization. Therefore, the conference on October 29th -30th 2025, is an effort to sustain moral, civic, character, and human technology education so that individuals can play roles both locally and globally. This year's theme is "Flourishing human for education 5.0: Integrating moral, civics, and character education."
The role of moral, civic, and character education cannot be overlooked in shaping individuals who are of good character, have civic awareness, and are willing to shoulder social responsibility. In line with the theme "Flourishing human for education 5.0: Integrating moral, civics, and character education," the integration of these three areas in uncovering and developing human values is crucial. Individuals who possess excellent values, morals, ethics, and character are capable of making productive contributions to the well-being of themselves, their families, society, and the nation. Therefore, we welcome the participation and contributions of academics and professionals to share ideas related to the integration of moral, civic, and character education in the context of building Society 5.0, which upholds the prosperity of individuals and global society.
Among the topics and subtopics in the field of Moral Education are values, curriculum, pedagogy, philosophy, moral psychology, service learning, and morality in cultural diversity. The topics and subtopics in the field of Civic Education include human rights, citizenship, digital citizenship, leadership, and community. Meanwhile, the topics and subtopics in Character Education involve aspects of human development, teachers and values, socio-emotional learning, social climate and character, as well as instructional skills. In addition, other fields in education and social sciences such as sociology, psychology, philosophy, counseling, the environment, political science, Islamic studies, history, law, arts, drama, music, theater, language, culture, civilization, finance, and management are also welcome to be presented and discussed by the conference participants.
The town of Tanjong Malim is located in the district of Muallim (Knowledge City), in the state of Perak, Malaysia. Tanjong Malim is famous because it has Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). Sultan Idris University of Education (UPSI) is a public higher education institution. The university is renowned as a center of higher education focusing on teaching and learning, as well as professional development in the field of education.
In addition, Tanjong Malim is also famous for the Malaysian national car production factory. The Malaysian brand car "Proton" is manufactured by this factory, in Tanjong Malim. The town of Tanjong Malim is also rich in various traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian foods as well as the greenery of tropical rainforests and waterfalls.
