CONSTITUTION OF THE Danceblast CLUB OF Curtis Senior High SCHOOL

Preamble

We, the students, for the promotion of good government, good sportsmanship, student activities, and the general welfare of the students of Curtis Senior High School, establish this Constitution of the Danceblast Club.

Article 1. Name of Organization

Section A. It is resolved that the name of this organization shall be the Danceblast Club of Curtis Senior High School.

Article 2. Purpose

The purposes of this organization shall be to:

1. To create a dance production showcasing the talents of our students.

2. To achieve and create an opportunity for senior students to showcase their choreography skills.

Section B.

1. To provide a theater production that exposes students to a range of dance styles.

2. To provide a theater experiences for all types and abilities of dancers.

Article 3. Membership

Section A. Membership in Danceblast Club is established by auditions run and organized by the advisor.

Section B. Membership in Danceblast Club is maintained by attending all rehearsals and learning dance(s) for the production. Only once absence from rehearsals is permitted.

Article 4. Duties

Section A. Duties of Danceblast Club

● To create dances with varying styles.

● To assist students in developing their dance and choreography skills.

● To achieve a dance theater experience for all students to enjoy.

● To support an appreciation dance and expose students to different dance styles.

Article 5. Eligibility

Section A. Eligibility of Danceblast Club All club members must have and maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average.

Section B. Requirements for all Danceblast Club Members during their period of service shall be required to:

1. Own an ASB card

2. All fines paid

Article 6. Amendments

Section A. This constitution shall be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the membership provided ______________________________.
