DANCEBLAST CAST LIST 2025 - Click Here
Thank you to all who auditioned! We had a great turnout this year and wish we could have cast everyone.
If you are cast, make sure you are registered on Final Forms before rehearsals begin next week.
If you are having trouble with Final Forms, reach out to Ms. Davis if you are in 10th-12th grade, and Ms. Walsh-Stender in 9th grade.
Rehearsals begin Monday, December 2nd. All dances meet in the theater for the first rehearsal.
If you have been cast in any dance, please join the Google Classroom here. See you next week!
Who can participate?: 9th through 12th grade students who like to dance! All styles and levels of training are welcome. No prior training needed. Students interested in being a Student Choreographer must be seniors, and have been in Danceblast before.
How do I audition?: Auditions take place in late November. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Register online at Final Forms HERE.
What do auditions look like? Different choreographer's and styles will teach choreography each day of auditions. Dancers will learn the choreography and perform it for the choreographers right after. You are encouraged to attend all the days of auditions to have the best chance of being in the show! The cast list will be posted following auditions.
When does it take place?: Danceblast 2025 performances are February 20, 21, and 22.
When do we rehearse?: Rehearsals are after school from either 2:15-3:30 or 3:30-4:45, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Each dances rehearses one day per week, for a total of 8-9 rehearsals before the show. Rehearsals begin December 1.
How many dances are there/can I be cast in? What kinds of dances are in the show?: You can be cast in up to three dances. The show includes a variety of dance styles from hip hop, to jazz, to lyrical ballet and modern pieces. You may not pick which dances you are in; the choreographers and I cast the show.
How do I get more information?: Stay tuned to the announcements and if you have any other questions, contact the Danceblast advisor, Lauren Molinaro at lmolinaro@upsd83.org.
