What PR Space Grant Consortium offers:
Twenty STEM students receive full support (stipend and tuition) each academic year. They participate in NASA-related projects developed by researchers in the jurisdiction in collaboration with NASA centers.
Twenty STEM students spend 10-15 weeks doing research at a NASA center, a National Lab, or Aerospace Industry, under the supervision of NASA scientists and engineers.
Hardware Projects
Hands-on minds-on hardware projects (CubeSat, RockSat, and Moonbuggy) are implemented in collaboration with NASA centers. Research Experiences: STEM students engage in NASA-related research or education projects under the supervision of researchers and faculty.
Seed Grants
Faculty members are supported to engage in NASA-related interdisciplinary research and education projects that expand the jurisdiction’s capabilities in NASA-related fields.
Teacher Workshops
Hands-on professional development activities provide new NASA content and NASA educational materials to in-service teachers, pre-service teachers, and informal educators.
Public Outreach
Educational activities targeted at the general public employ NASA science and technology to inspire the young generation into becoming STEM professionals.
