Mentor: Microbiology Laboratory Technician, Bárbara Sánchez Santana M.S

During the volunteer work I was able to learn how to use more sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and solution preparations. Mainly consisted on culture transfers, media culture preparation and sterilization for lecture laboratories. As well as shadowing the ongoing researchers in the laboratory, helping them with DNA extractions and sugar assimilations.
