SEMI Educa Program

• Took part in developing an outreach program focused on providing conferences to elementary and high school students about Microbiology. I was able to lead a conference to high schoolers about the opportunities in the Microbiology field and the admission requirements for the Industrial Microbiology program at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez (UPRM).

Others

Ballena Beach Clean Up

• Along Finca Higuaca, other collaborators and Guanica community members, we cleaned the polluted Guanica Pier and Ballena Beach.

Geriatric House Visit

• The AMSA UPRM student coordinated a geriatric house visit which allowed me to provide company and connect with residents.

Placement Office Volunteer

• The Placement Office coordinates yearly job fair for the UPRM students on which I volunteer to great company staff members and helped set exhibition booths.
