For these last two assignments, we will do the worksheet in class and organize ourselves for the first big assignment of the semester.
We will choose a scene from chapters 3-6 of the novel that shows important character development. Groups of three for a total of ten scenes for the week. We will then watch the video and then have a dialogue discussing the theme and the meaning of the scene in the novel whilst comparing and contrasting it with the video interpretation.
Read the chapters 4-6 of the novel-due the 3rd of May.
After reading the chapters, I'd like for you to watch the video interpretations of the scenes and identify the themes you saw in them. Afterward, we will dissect the novel and use these themes as a basis for the final project of the semester. Due for the 6-10th of May.
Lastly, I'd like for you guys to start drafting your final essay papers, or at least have a topic ready for the end of the term.
