This English Literature course delves into the exploration and analysis of “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” by Benjamin Alire Sáenz through the lens of analytical essay writing. Welcome to my Class!
My name is Giancarlos Zambrana Carlo, I'm native to Quebradillas, PR. I like to think of myself as rather intuitive and creative, but also very traditional in a sense.
I love reading and writing, but I'm mostly reading these days. Spending quality time with my loved ones is my favorite pastime, even if it's sitting on the couch watching dramas. I am a huge fan of video games, they contain thoughtful and interactive stories that captivate young minds, while also paving the way for a love of reading.
My favorite book right now is Looking for Alaska by John Green, but my favorite book series is the Hunger Games and Lord of the Rings trilogies. My favorite video game of all time is Chrono Trigger, but I also enjoy multiplayer games like Valorant and Overwatch.

How this class will function:
This class is an introductory course to literary elements, and essay writing. We'll be using the novel “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” to learn how to decipher and interpret text, while also taking and analyzing themes within the text. This course will be divided into three topics, these are named:

Writing an Essay
Each topic will have separate instructions and materials. You will have weekly assignments you have to complete and submit to the platform or to my email (giancarlos.zambrana@upr.edu) if there are technical problems.
I will be available during weekdays from 7:30am-4:00pm if you have any doubts.
Do not use external help to do your work, I will notice, and you'll get an automatic fail on the assignment.
