Organizing Team Member (2023 – Present)
I am an Organizing Team Member of Black in Neuro, where I am part of the Communications Team. The organizations mission is to diversify the neurosciences by building a community that celebrates and empowers Black scholars and professionals in neuroscience-related fields. I am responsible for creating visual graphic elements and artistic designs for events and promotional content for all the coordinated events, as well as video editing/captioning of resources.
Simply Neuroscience's Action Potention Advising Program (APAP) (2023 – Present)
I am an advisor under the APAP, which virtually connect young neuroscience students (“advisees”) with older professionals (“advisors”) to provide educational guidance and mentorship. The APAP hopes to bridge gaps in early neuroscience and psychology education by creating an international, centralized space that goes beyond individual schools and colleges. I currently mentor four international students interested in pursuing graduate studies in neuroscience and related fields.
Neuroanatomy Laboratory Coordinator (2022 – Present)
I am the coordinator of the Fundamental Neurosciences Laboratory, part of the Fundamental Neurosciences Course, with Dr. Juan Fernández. I am in charge of the organization of each lab session during the semester, as well as managing all lab’s resources and supporting the TAs of the course when needed.
Neuroanatomy Laboratory Supervisor (2021 – 2022)
I was the supervisor of the Fundamental Neurosciences Laboratory, part of the Fundamental Neurosciences Course, with Dr. Juan Fernández. I revised and created artwork for the manual of the course (see below for more details).
President (2020 – 2022)
I was the president of the Clinical Psychology PhD-Psy Class of 2025. My work consisted in coordinating class reunions, activities and delegating responsibilities according to the work needed to be done.

Biological Pairing Research Program | Founder (2016 – 2017)
During my year as the president of the National Biological Honor Society Zeta Epsilon Chapter I created the Biological Pairing Research Program with the purpose of helping undergraduate minority students do research in Puerto Rico. See below for more details.

I was the President for the National Biological Honor Society Zeta Epsilon Chapter for the 2016-2017 academic year. I created the B(i)OS Journal Club and the BBB Clinical Program during my work as president for the dissemination of scientific/clinical work and knowledge amongst the members of the association.
Public Relations Officer (2015 – 2016)
I was the Public Relations Officer for the National Biological Honor Society Zeta Epsilon Chapter for the 2015-2016 academic year.
