Title: The Role of Quantum Potential in Generating Chaotic Bohmian Trajectory.
Abstract: Particle trajectories guided by the wave function are well-defined through Bohmian mechanics, which is a causal interpretation of quantum mechanics. Periodic and chaotic behaviours could be exhibited from the certain classical integrable systems that have been shown within this framework. Recently, several studies have shown that a Bohmian trajectory approaching closely to a nodal point makes a spiral around the point and becomes chaotic. In this work, using 2-dimensional commensurate harmonic oscillators, we explore the effects of the distance between the nodal point’s region and the initial positions on the dynamical behaviour of Bohmian trajectories. The result shows the system undergoes a transition to chaos after clearly having regular behaviour. At the onset of chaos, the quantum trajectories diverge from the regular orbit and move toward the centre region of nodal points. In addition, the system with an initial position near the region only needs a short amount of time to exhibit chaos compared to a more distant one. This phenomenon may be due to the abrupt change in quantum potential i.e., the potential which is absent in classical mechanics. The connection between chaos and quantum potential is proved using numerical computation of the Lyapunov exponent together with the plotting of quantum potential.

Title: Graphene on Noncommutative Quantum Mechanics in Dual Magnetic Fields
Abstract: In this talk, we explore a single-layer of carbon atom in two-dimensional honeycomb structure namely graphene with noncommutative correction in the presence of constant magnetic field. We introduce the position operators are modified by differential operator and gauge terms, which is analogous to gauge covariant derivative namely Landau and symmetric (dual) gauge choices.
