PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Oral Presentation Guidelines
Organize your slides logically. Ensure that each slide flows naturally into the next and contributes to a clear and coherent presentation.
Use graphs and charts effectively. Visuals should highlight key findings and help the audience understand your research clearly.
Keep your slides simple and focused. Avoid excessive data, complicated graphs, animations, GIFs, and distracting colours. Focus on communicating your key message effectively.
Choose clear and readable fonts. Use high-contrast fonts that are easy to read and commonly available. Avoid ALL CAPS, excessive italics, and other distracting text effects.
Manage your time effectively. Keep your presentation within the allocated 20 minutes, allowing sufficient time to deliver your key findings clearly and effectively.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Presenter must use the official i-SMS2026 poster template. Posters that do not follow the prescribed template may not be accepted.
Bring your A1 size printed poster to the on-site registration or poster drop-off desk.
Combine diagrams, charts, images, and concise text blocks. Aim for clarity.
Be available during designated poster session times (and refreshments breaks if specified) to answer questions.
