The Center for Foundation Studies in Science (Pusat Asasi Sains UPM, commonly known as ASPutra) is an academic entity under Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) dedicated to providing pre-university education for science-stream students.

Overview

Established on June 1, 2005, the center serves as a gateway for school leavers into degree programs across science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, and agro-bio disciplines at UPM. It is the sole center in Malaysia offering a science foundation program specifically integrated with basic agricultural and agro-bio science.

• Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (Asasi Sains Pertanian / ASPer): Mainstream 1-year (2-semester) program for Malaysian SPM science leavers.

• Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (International Intake): Program designed for international students seeking admission into UPM's bachelor's degree programs.
