Please note that registration is closed as we have filled all available seats. Please reach out if you would like to be placed on a waiting list in the event that someone withdraws.  

Registration for the University of Prince Edward Island’s popular Faculty Development Summer Institute on Active Learning will open  March 1, 2026.  The university is switching to a new ticketing platform called AudienceView. We may need a few more days beyond March 1 to ensure that the new system is up and running well. If registration is not yet activated, please email TLC@upei.ca and we can reserve a spot for you. 

• Early bird registration for the institute will be $XXX CDN, plus HST, available until April 12, 2026. 

• Registration after April 12, 2025 will be $XXXX plus HST.   

Registration covers all learning materials; all lunches plus two nutrition breaks a day; the welcome reception; and the celebratory meal. Additional tickets for guests will be available for an extra charge of $55.00 plus tax for this celebration event. 

UPEI departments or Faculties wishing to pay for a colleague's registration using an internal requisition should contact Charlene VanLeeuwen in the Teaching and Learning Centre as soon as possible.  

We are pleased to accept the first 24 participants, so please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 

Refund Policy

Full refund minus AudienceView fees may be requested up until April 30, 2026.
