Owner, Kelly Whitted Sr

Kelly's love of bicycles began at the age of seven when he received his first bike, it was baby blue in color and just as any other youth receiving their first bike, he loved it.  He rode that bicycle everywhere and eventually taught himself how to repair his bikes with quick repairs such as changing a flat tire to more comprehensive repairs and custom bike building. 

During the Summer of 2007, Kelly relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and began working with previous shop owner James Watson at Affordable Bikes Recyclery as a bike mechanic. While also participating in many social rides and races in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and others.

In May of 2023, Kelly purchased and acquired Upcycles Bike shop with the goal of continuing providing excellent bicycle repair services and ready to ride bicycles to the customers in the Greater Cleveland area.
