On April 23 and 24, 2026, the 8th Panhellenic Conference on Electronics and Telecommunications (PACET 2026) was held at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.
This year's conference was organized by the Electronics Laboratory of the Department of Physics, under the responsibility of Professor Costas Psychalinos, who is also the Chairman of the Department of Physics. It covered a wide range of cutting-edge topics, such as analog and digital circuits, signal processing systems, embedded systems, IoT networks, 5G/6G communications, as well as emerging technologies such as circuits for quantum computers.
As part of the conference, students had the opportunity to participate in a special session with representatives from microelectronics companies, where they were informed about current developments in the field and had the opportunity to express their questions/concerns to the speakers.

The event was honored with the presence of colleagues who served in the Electronics Laboratory as well as graduates of the Postgraduate Program in Electronics.
The interaction with the undergraduate and graduate students, as well as with the Ph.D students, was a source of inspiration for the young people.
