The Service Science and Software Engineering Laboratory (S3Lab), headed by Professor Jaime Caro and founded on June 2012, is concerned with methodology, quality, and other issues in the creation and delivery of service systems, including the dynamic interplay of people, technology, information and organizations. Members of the laboratory are interested in tools in Data Analytics, Service Design, Software Engineering, and Information Systems Design and Management. Current application domains considered are IT for Education, E-Governance, and eHealth. Shown below is a presentation indicating the research interests, current accomplishments and future plans of our lab.
A primer on S3Lab (and ACLab) can be found here created by Herbie Villafranca, an MS graduate student doing his thesis in S3Lab.
