The UP General Education program aims to provide students with a foundation of study that will broaden their intellectual and cultural horizons, hone critical and creative thinking, develop their passion for learning and scholarship, cultivate a high sense of intellectual and moral integrity, and foster a commitment to nationalism and social justice. 

The System GE Conference 2025 fulfills the necessary periodical gathering of faculty who champion the heart of UP education, as stated in the GE Framework. It invites all constituent units to:

1. Look back, reflect on the fulfillment of the UP GE program objectives through the years; 

2. Look through, review teaching and learning practices in the current UP GE program; and

3. Look forward, reinforce the UP GE program through critical assessment of potential changes in the educational landscape

This conference, themed "Pagtanaw sa KaaGE: Through the Years," will serve as a venue to reflect on, review, and reinforce the teaching and learning practices in the UP GE Program. It will feature keynote, plenary, and parallel sessions that respond to the three conference objectives.
