Kevin Carl P. Santos

I have been seconded to the Department of Education as Director IV of the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) since September 2024. BEA administers the key stage assessments in the basic education system such as ELLNA and NAT and acts as the PISA and SEA-PLM National Center.

I am Associate Professor 4 at the Educational Research and Evaluation Area of the College of Education, University of the Philippines-Diliman. Since June 2021, I have also joined the Assessment, Curriculum, and Technology Research Centre (a partnership between the University of Melbourne and the University of the Philippines, supported by the Australian Government) as a Senior Research Fellow. 

I am teaching EDRE 146 (Introduction to Educational Testing and Assessment), EDRE 201 (Methods in Educational Research), and EDRE 231 (Statistical Methods applied to Education) this 2nd semester AY 2021-2022 at UP College of Education.

Before joining the College of Education, I was an Associate Professor 4 and the Director for Graduate Studies at the School of Statistics, University of the Philippines-Diliman.
