SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
Conference Outcomes
At the end of the conference, participants should be able to:
Explain how health systems science strengthens health systems and improves health
Integrate systems-based thinking in health professions education (HPEd)
Discuss effective approaches for creating and sustaining communities of practice in HPEd
Identify relevant domains of CoPs among health professions educators and health professionals
Commit to participate in the CoP to promote systems-based HPEd
Activities
The conference will feature lectures, symposia, oral paper presentations, e-poster presentations, dialogues, and workshops within a virtual platform. Participants can engage with the speakers and presenters during the open fora and with co-participants during the workshops and other sessions in real-time through chat and video conferencing. We hope to sustain connections and networks gained through ICEHS 2023 through the conference learning management system which will not only serve as a repository of conference materials such as video recordings of sessions, handouts, and supplemental materials that may be viewed on demand post-conference, but also serve as a continuing link between participants and NTTCHP which we hope to sustain well beyond the conference, through to the next ICEHS.
