PAG-IBIG CARAVAN
The one-stop services hub was part of the HRDO Caravan Series: Government Services Access Express, a project by the Human Resource Development Office of the University of the Philippines Manila aimed at providing employees with convenient access to government services within the university.
As we get older, finances become one of the most important things we consider in order to live a stable and sufficient life. Inevitably, preparing for one’s future entails becoming financially literate when it comes to handling finances. Several provident funds have been present, from private to government-aligned, that have aided lives of the Filipinos. In this regard, the Human Resource Development Office recognizes the significance of becoming financially prepared of its employees and constituents; therefore, conducting the Pag-IBIG Caravan, in partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund (formerly known as the Home Development Mutual Fund) on March 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the 8F Social Hall of the UP-PGH Building. In this caravan, attendees have the opportunity to update their records, apply for a Loyalty Card Plus, apply for a Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL), as well as be assisted for the creation of their Virtual Pag-IBIG account and other inquiries.
The event began with a number of attendees, double-checking the documents they have at hand, in the smooth processing of the services they wish to avail during the caravan. The inquiry desks are also pooled with participants inquiring about their account and loans, especially for those who wish to open a virtual Pag-IBIG account.
Participants who applied for their Loyalty Card Plus were also swiftly accommodated through a smooth procedural flow from right to left until they are able to claim their ID before they leave the caravan. The enthusiastic ambiance of employees having their applications addressed continued until the afternoon session.
A total of 96 participants, both coming from UP Manila and UP PGH, who availed the services offered by Pag-IBIG, conducted closer to their workplace with more efficiency and no hassle process.
