These are my activities and experiences I had in my stay in the university.
"The annual tradition of UPLB students since Sept. 1972. Hosted by the USC and College SCs, it aims to collectively unite the people for genuine social change."

During the Feb Fair 2023, I get to witness various performances from different artists and advocacies for pressing issues in the society.
ICS Week is an annual conducting of activities in celebration of the founding anniversary of the Institute of Computer Science in UPLB. This is the time you get to bond with your teachers outside the usual classroom setting!
I got to play volleyball during the PalICSihan, a 1-day friendly sports competition between batches in the institute. I also got to compete with my friend and sir Carl in a Quizcon competition!
Freshie Fair 2023 is conducted by the university as a welcoming event to the freshmen who will be entering UPLB for the first time! During this time, my organization got to bond with freshies from all over degree programs! We also got to share what they would expect in the program by showing some of our projects to them!
Loyalty Day and Alumni Homecoming is an annual celebration every October 10 to commemorate the dedication and sacrifice made by the constituents of UP College of Agriculture (Former name of UPLB) in helping defend the country during the World War I.
Our organization joined the Loyalty Day Parade and bonded with some of the alumni that joined us in the parade.
Organizations in UPLB defined who I am today and gave me countless opportunities outside the usual academics. I also get to meet a lot of people whom I have shared interests and made friends in the process.
Currently, I have two organizations, UPLB Computer Science Society and Society of Exchange Students-UP.
When my friends visited Los Baños, we decided to visit the Makiling Botanical Garden. We were amazed by the diverse species of fauna and flora throughout the whole place! Just a reminder to bring your own bottle of water as they do not sell products inside when we went there.
You can also visit the UPLB Makiling Botanic Gardens Facebook Page for more information!
