Bernard Alan "BA"  Racoma, PhD heads the GeoSTORM lab where he focuses on research in meteorology and environmental science. With a background in applied physics, geology, and dual PhDs in meteorology and climate science, his work emphasizes understanding tropical cyclones, extreme weather, and disaster risk reduction. 

BA is committed to mentoring future scientists and policymakers, advocating for inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary approaches alongside effective communication and conversation.
