Methodology

The application focuses on utilizing Isolines, particularly, Isodistances, for accomplishing the objectives of this study. To do this, the developer used readily available APIs to integrate the necessary Isoline Map and to equip the application with location search and navigation/routing capabilitieas. Information regarding gasoline stations and fuel prices are stored in a cloud-hosted database.  The application was designed using the database schema below:

This study will use the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate the overall usability of the application. The SUS will be a likert scale questionnaire consisting of statements prompting the respondents to rate their user experience from using the application. The SUS questions will consist of 15 questions focused on the application’s effectiveness, efficiency, functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness.
