As DRRM practitioners and first responders, yours and your family's safety will always come first before we can eventually others. However, as taught in this module, it is important to be prepared in order for us to swiftly report on the ground and perform our emergency functions once we have secured the safety of our loves ones.
So, it is just as important for you and I to have our own Family Preparedness Plan. This kickstarts your critical and practical thinking skills to apply what you have learned and understood from previous modules to this course, and how it can be translated into preparedness measures.
As part of your participation in this course, formulate your own FPP using the template (link above) and involve your family in doing so. Document your planning session and post about your experience in accomplishing the plan in the Jamboard!
