BA Psychology
Program Objectives
The BA Psychology program aims to produce graduates who can:
Demonstrate mastery of core psychological theories, concepts, and principles;
Demonstrate expertise in applying psychological theories, principles, and methods in various contexts;
Demonstrate understanding of individual differences and self-development;
Conduct research and professional practice in accordance with moral and ethical standards of psychology;
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Develop creative and innovative leadership competencies;
Engage in psychological research and public service to address the needs and concerns of diverse communities with emphasis on culture, mental health, and resilience;
Promote nationalism through the study of the discipline of psychology;
Exemplify sensitivity to relevant psychosocial issues;
Appreciate multidisciplinarity in the study of psychological phenomena; and
Develop appreciation for learning new knowledge and skills.
