THE ETHICS REVIEW APPLICATION PROCESS

FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS

Undergraduate and graduate students' thesis and dissertation projects call for a special ethics review application process simply because of their unique circumstance as class/course requirements targeting a date of completion specified in their coursework. This flowchart is an illustration of the review application process adapted for them.

Review fee is waived for students, following Article 6, Section 14 of CHED M.O. #15, Series of 2019.

Note: In the case of graduate-level thesis/dissertation projects, the ethics review process will become part of the proposal defense. Submit the research ethics review application documents at least 15 work days prior to the scheduled proposal defense date. One of the research ethics reviewers will sit as a member of the proposal defense panel to communicate the feedback from the ethics review panel.
