Scientific results and information are commonly delivered to the public through paper publication(s), fora, and conferences. As part of giving back to the community, I deliver information through invited lectures and reviews to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). I also help in capacity building of SUCs and Local Government Units (LGUs) through trainings related to fisheries and marine sciences.

I am also a member of the Fisheries and Otolith Research Applications Laboratory (FOReAL) at UP Visayas! Our team is composed of fisheries scientists that are experts in fields of Fish Curatorial Procedures and Taxonomy, Capture Fisheries, Otolith Research, Fish Reproductive Biology, Fish Biology and Ecology, Fish Population Dynamics, and Fisheries Management.
