Jamie is accredited airway clearance instructor by the International Physiotherapy Group for Cystic Fibrosis. He has taught basic and advanced courses on airway clearance techniques in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Argentina.

In 2020, Jamie completed his PhD that highlighted his investigation on the impact of telehealth on health-related outcomes in cystic fibrosis.

At present, Jamie is focused on:

1. educating and training physiotherapists to improve quality of healthcare services for persons with chronic lung disease

2. developing low-cost technology to enhance access of persons with chronic lung diseases in low-resource, unique, and complex settings
