A Workshop

A two-day workshop of discussion and hands-on activities

This workshop is relevant to health care professionals, including physical therapists, medical doctors, and other practitioners involved in the care of persons with chronic lung diseases. Theoretical concepts and updated evidence on advanced airway clearance techniques are discussed to guide clinical practice. The workshop also involves hands-on practice of strategies to optimize the use of advanced airway clearance techniques in complex, unique, and low-resource contexts.

The workshop aims to equip the participants with sound, evidence-based, and advanced knowledge and skills on airway clearance techniques in the management of persons with chronic lung disease.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:

Explain theories that inform clinical decision-making in applying advanced airway clearance techniques for patient care correctly.
