In a challenging year post-pandemic, with a team where 90% of the collaborators were in their fourth semester, we resumed the ambitious project of a vehicle started in 2019. Our goal: to complete it in time for the Michigan competition. This challenge led us to undertake new research and manufacturing processes, preparing us to demonstrate our resilience, innovation, and teamwork at one of the most prestigious competitions internationally.The UP Racing team was formed in 2015 with students from Mechanical Engineering and Innovation anda Design. They animed to compete in Formula SAE. 17 studentes enrolled in February 2015 and after six months, they built the UPR. At the 2016 Lincoln, Nebraska competition, they achieved a 95% in Tech Inspection.
