My thoughts on some of our contributions:

1. IQRA_IG Algorithm: Algorithm Improved Quick Reduct with Information Gain Heuristic is developed as part of my thesis work "Effective Reduct Computation Strategies" . It is one of the fast reduct computation algorithm for Classical Rough Sets incorporating the features of Positive Region Removal (Accelerator), Granular Refinement and Ambiguity Resolution. It can be applied to decision systems with categorical attributes for feature subset selection. This algorithm is taken as the base algorithm to scale using MapReduce in our recent works.
