Exploring the Impact of Nutrients and Treatments on Fruit Trees
Influence of Irrigation Water Type, DAP and Max-Gro on Vegetative Growth and Leaf Nutrient Content of Plum Trees (Prunus spp.) cv. Samarra (2023): This collaborative effort with H.A. Khalil investigated the effects of various irrigation water sources, Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), and Max-Gro fertilizer on the vegetative growth and leaf nutrient profile of plum trees. Our findings provide valuable insights for optimizing plum cultivation practices.
Evaluate Response of Peach Fruits to Coating Treatments During Cold Storage (2022): In collaboration with N.M.R. Hasan and S.F.A. Al-Bamarny, this study explored the efficacy of different postharvest coating treatments in preserving the quality of peaches during cold storage. The results offer practical recommendations for extending the shelf life of peaches.
Response of Dixired Peach Trees to Sulphur and Iron Application (2020): Co-authored with J.M.A. Al-Aareji, this investigation examined the influence of sulfur and iron application on the growth and development of Dixired peach trees. The study contributes to our understanding of nutrient management strategies for peach cultivation.
Optimizing Growth and Micropropagation Techniques
Response of Some Vegetative Growth Characteristics of Peach (Prunus persica L) cv. Dixired Transplants to Foliar Spray With Urea and Some Growth Regulators (2020): This research explored the effects of foliar application of urea and various growth regulators on the vegetative growth characteristics of Dixired peach trees. The findings offer potential avenues for enhancing peach tree growth.
Effect of Media Cultures and Benzyladenine (Ba) Concentrations in Micropropagation of Three Types of Cherry Rootstock (Establishment and Multiplication) (2017): In collaboration with L. Shaaban and M. Al-Mizory, this study investigated the influence of different media cultures and Benzyladenine (Ba) concentrations on the micropropagation of three cherry rootstock varieties. The results contribute to the development of efficient micropropagation protocols for cherry rootstocks.
Response of Pear Fruit Cv. Butirra Precoce Morettini to Kmno4, Bread Yeast at Two Storage Periods (2015): Co-authored with S.F.A. Al-Bamarny and A.A. Mohamad, this research examined the effectiveness of potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and baker's yeast in preserving the quality of pear fruits during storage. The study provides valuable insights into postharvest management strategies for pears.
