ABOUT US

The road ahead in cancer biology is very promising, with mechano-biology receiving the greater attention it deserves. The Cancer and Nano-Mechanobiology Laboratory, established in 2021, aims at a systematic inquiry into the mechanical changes in the cells in response to mechanical cues, including magnetic fields, mechanical forces, etc. Our work seeks to leverage these forces and apply the insights to supplement cancer diagnostics and regeneration therapy. Currently, the work focuses on different cancer and normal cell lines, progressing into in vivo as well as clinical experimentations in near future.
