Making student course clearance easier for UNZA students
To design and implement a concise and stable platform that University of Zambia (UNZA) students can clear their courses remotely from an online resource.
To design a digital database oriented system of course clearing.
To reduce course clearing workload for UNZA lecturers and students.
To make the clearance process accessible to students and lecturers at any time
The University of Zambia (UNZA) require their students to clear any obligations before they depart campus at the end of the academic year. The inconvenience that physically navigating campus puts a strain on both students and administration.
This process if not completed can make a student's graduation problematic, therefore it is an essential procedure in a student's academic career. With our platform the hassle of students forming queues and lecturers signing documents for hundreds of their students will be replaced with a few clicks.
Built off the back-end of Node.js and MongoDb database our system will, through an online database of courses and lecturers, allow students to navigate to their respective courses to then digitally submit clearance requests that their lecturers can either approve or deny through the same platform.
