Course Description:

JAG Nebraska offers a career preparation program that provides an educational, hands-on and on-line approach for employability / job attainment skills (resumes, cover letters, job applications, interviewing, etc.) and work place survival skills. Through the Career Association led by students they will develop a plan of work which includes leadership development, civic awareness, career development and social awareness. Students will learn skills needed to successfully transfer from high school to adulthood.

About me - Ricardo Ariza

I live in Omaha, Ne. and enjoy the daily commute. I just celebrated my 38th wedding anniversary with my wife (Tricia) and I have two children (Felicia and Gabriel) who attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I believe that my position as a Career Specialist with JAG is the perfect fit because I enjoy teaching students to learn about their strengths and to plan for the future.

I am excited about the new Career Development Center! Our leadership at the Umoⁿhoⁿ Nation Public School has a great vision to offer which will include a state-of-the-art curriculum providing enhanced career opportunities for our students.

I look forward to returning to school as I missed the students. We have many challenges to overcome and I look forward to being a part of the solution.
