We are Team 2 of KIN 350 who are seeking to educate people about the benefits of exercise and fitness on mental health.
According to a meta analysis from 2021, "The main components of fitness are cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular fitness, speed-agility and flexibility" (Cadenas-Sanchez et al., 2021).
We have found that being physically active can improve mental health across a range of ages! Our research focuses on how exercise effects each age group's mental health differently.
