24th Annual Graduate & Professional Student Research Forum
Our in-person event will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
All are welcome!
The 24th Annual Graduate and Professional Student Research Forum will be hosted on April 2, 2022, by the Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) and the Graduate College. Each spring semester, this event showcases the excellence in research conducted at the graduate student level.
The 2022 Annual Research Forum has adopted an asynchronous hybrid format. Students submitted either prerecorded presentations online or will present in person on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Winners of the virtual presentation sessions and in-person presentation sessions will be announced at the livestreamed hybrid Awards Ceremony, which follows the conclusion of the Forum presentations on April 2, 2022 from 12:30 p.m.- 2 p.m. in the SU Ballroom. The winners of the GPSA Awards nominations will be announced at the Awards Ceremony as well. Whether you plan to attend in person or virtually, please RSVP for the Awards Ceremony.
The Forum provides an excellent professional development opportunity for graduate students to share their research with a broad audience of faculty, other graduate students, undergraduates, and members of the larger community. Of course, this Forum is open to all graduate and professional students wishing to share their research and creative expressions, practice their presentation skills, or obtain constructive comments on their work from faculty.
There were three session types this year:
10-minute “podium” presentation, such as a slideshow (prerecorded virtual submission only).
5-minute poster presentation (prerecorded virtual option).
5-minute poster presentation (in-person option).
The goal of this event is to provide graduate students an opportunity to share their research with campus leaders. The Research Forum provides an opportunity for graduate students to learn about others research that may not be their discipline.
