Daban is a member of the "Academic Title" committee, which is responsible for granting academic titles (Assistant lecturer, lecturer, etc.) to M.A./MSc. and PhD holders.

Daban is a member of the committee responsible to reform the curriculum of pedagogical centers in Iraqi Kurdistan Universities
