The authorized number of Directors shall not be less than 5 nor more than 9, the exact number to be specified from time to time by action of the Board of Directors. A candidate must be at least eighteen (18)years of age to serve on the Board. The Board of Directors shall include, among others, the following representatives:
One(1) representative from Pleasant Valley School District
One(1) representative from the Ventura County Superintendent of Schools Office
One(1) representative from CSU Channel Islands Education Faculty
One(1) representative from the CSU Channel Islands President's Office
Two(2) parent positions (parent/guardian of current student)
Two(2) community positions
One(1) Founder Seat, to be filled by Dr. Jeanne Adams until such time that she chooses not to fill the position
The representatives from Pleasant Valley School District, Ventura County Superintendent of Schools Office, CSU Channel Islands Education Faculty, and CSU Channel Islands President's Office shall be designated by the entity that they represent. The parent representatives and community representatives shall be elected by the Board of Directors. Directors shall serve (4) year terms.
