Pablo is a PhD candidate in the Italian National Program on Artificial Intelligence in Health and Life Sciences. Since 2024, his research has focused on the transformative potential of genomic Language Models (gLMs) for clinical and epidemiological applications. His 2025 thesis, "Data Collection and Artificial Intelligence for Genomic Representation in Computational Virology", laid the groundwork for high-impact collaborative projects with the University of Florida and NVIDIA. This collaboration resulted in the development of Vir2vec, a novel framework for genome-wide viral embeddings.
